When you are constantly being asked to do things in ways that don’t resonate with your unique style, you use your energy quickly and feel stressed and depleted. You have two choices. Either change the way you do things to ways that resonate with you. Or find ways to increase your energy. Start by believing you can be happy and energetic by being more authentic and taking care of your own needs. Here are some ideas to add energy spoons to your day and subtract stress before it takes over your life.

Acceptance - Accept yourself from head to toe. Appreciate your unique flaws.

BFF - Be your own best friend. Switch from negative to compassionate self-talk.

Connection - Connect energetically with yourself, your loved ones or nature.

Diversity - Embrace diversity. No two people are alike. We need all kinds to reach our potential.

Exercise - Breath, hydration, strength training, flexibility, cardio, rest

Fun - Do what you think is fun, whether by yourself or with friends and family.

Gratitude - Express gratitude for everything that has brought you this far. Keep a pocket list.

Honor your needs - Self care is critical before you can care for others.

Inspiration - When someone succeeds, use them as inspiration, not negative comparison.

Jumpstart - Exercise can assist focus. Take one step to quiet anxiety.

Kiss - Human contact is vital; hug and kiss your loved ones.

Love - Let the love flow to and from self, others and all LIFE.

Meditation - Center yourself with eyes closed, focusing on your breath or a mantra, like peace.

Neurodivergent strengths - Shift ‘negative’ traits to positive ones, like stubborn to persistent.

Optimism - Pessimism contracts energy; optimism expands energy. Be optimistic.

Perspective - Seeing situations through others eyes expands compassion and understanding.

Question limiting beliefs - Deny limiting beliefs any power over you; affirm the Truth instead.

Relaxation - Rest and relaxation, create your own Rejuvenating Nourishing Rituals

Safe space - Designate a safe space at work and at home where you can desensitize.

Time - Making time for self care and fun expands time by increasing your productivity.

Unity - Remember that you are an essential, irreplaceable part in the Unity of all LIFE.

Vacation - Spend time away from your routine - a week, a weekend or a daytrip.

Winning - Competition requires losers. Win/win is good for both. All win is the best for all.

Yes - Focus your attention on the things that make you want to say “YES!”

Zoo - Animals, nature, walking - lots of energy. If you can’t go, then play with your pet.
